The Story Behind the Studio

A native and lifelong resident of Charlevoix, Michigan, Madison's passion for design started by watching her father sketch and construct houses all over Northern Michigan. That initial spark became a lifelong passion and led Madison to pursue Interior Design and Business at Adrian College, graduating in 2014.

Following college, she traveled south to Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked for a high-end design firm for 10 years. She developed her expertise in project management, kitchen and bath design, construction management, and creative direction—ultimately rising to lead designer and working on projects published in Veranda, Traditional Home, Luxe, and Flower Magazine.

Madison’s renewed vision informs her design process that focuses on originality, livability, comfort, and the beauty of spaces. She brings meaning into spaces for her clients, all informed, of course, with a lakeshore lifestyle that she knows and loves.

When Madison isn’t creating beautiful spaces for her clients, she’s focusing on her own, which is home to her husband and two children.
